Reco Medical is transforming the Wireless Sensing Platform Technology developed at Imperial College into novel medical devices that address unmet patient needs & reduce the health sectors' costs. Reco has been awarded 5 highly competitive Innovate UK fundings.
We are raising series A £750K (SEIS/EIS) to complete pre-clinical tests of wireless intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring system by the end of 2024. The planned market entry in US and Europe is 2025 and 2026, respectively. Compared with current wired ICP monitoring, Reco’s wireless ICP monitoring system significantly improves patient outcomes (reducing infection risk, shorter hospital stays, freedom from being tethered to bedside monitor) and halves the hospital/ health sectors' cost. There is a great opportunity to disrupt the $888M market (CAAGR>6.9%) with an improved and superior product.
In addition to the ICP monitoring market, Reco is developing a Left Atrial Sensing System to expand into a large cardiovascular market.
