Grove Nanomaterials, a Swansea Uni spinout launched in March 2023, is developing innovative home diagnostic tests using quantum gold nanoparticles. The company’s technology enables multiplex lateral flow tests for allergies, kidney disease, and cancer. Backed by a raft of patents, Grove's tunable nanoparticles offer clear, multi-disease testing. With proofs of principle established, Grove’s new nanomaterials factory and test lab opened in Cardiff (Spark) in 2024, Grove is ready to scale operations in 2025 generating revenue from 2026.
